THE LAST CHAIRLIFT

Novel. Aspen, Colorado, 1941. Rachel is a slalom skier at the National Downhill and Slalom Championships. Little Ray, as she is called, finishes 'nowhere near the podium,' but she manages to get pregnant. Her son, Adam, grows up in New England, looking for answers. As an adult, he goes to Aspen to uncover the ghosts of his mother's past.
